Let's Go For a Drive...

I am so glad that some go to great lengths to preserve what was once the
beauty of rural America.

So glad it is preserved and many times still very much in use.

Aren't you?

Thanks for the drive, Joni. There's nothing like seeing real America. I have a passion for old homes and farms and have lots of photos of my discoveries on Flickr.
You can get there by clicking on my name on this comment.

I have two particular sets of these kinds of photos, "Abandoned Farmhouses" and "Sheds,Shacks, and Barns." Those sets are on the right of the page.

Great photos! I love all of them, but especially love the little house with the shutters. I could live in a place like that!

I love your drives too. In Northern California where we farm, we don't get snow. It is wonderful to see darling old houses and barns that look like they are resting in the snow until awaked in a few months to do their jobs. Thanks for sharing.
